For a while my husband and I were really struggling to keep track of everything we had going on. Whether it be appointments, family dinners, nights out etc, we were never on the same page. I personally kept my own agenda (I still keep a planner that I use but that’s for a different post) and then I also put a calendar up on our command centre (another post as well J ), but it just wasn’t doing the trick. I would try and update the calendar monthly but my husband neverrrr wrote on it so many things would go missed or would cause a scheduling error based on lack of communication. After looking online for a solution we came across the app Cozi which basically transformed our lives overnight. This app is a calendar that syncs between our phones and lets the other person know when something has been scheduled which ensures that everyone is on the same page. This app is free and although there is a premium version you can buy, this budget gal is doing just fine with the free one. One rule we also put in place is that whoever puts something into Cozi first gets first dibs on that day. So say I put “dinner with the girls” on Saturday night and then Jord decides to go out with his friends Saturday night, too bad for him since he’s on Daddy duty ;). Obviously this is sometimes open to discussion but it’s not wise to take a Mama’s night away from a Mama!
