Best. Pancakes. Ever.

Let me start off by saying I love breakfast. I love waking up to the smell of bacon and knowing that it’s going to be an awesome day. We usually do a big family breakfast on Saturdays and it’s easily becoming one of my favorite traditions. On that note, my favorite breakfast is pancakes! Homemade pancakes to be exact. Now I’ve tried a few recipes but this one is by far the best one out there!

This recipe is from Second Chances girl and here is the link:

Trust me when I say this recipe is life changing.

That said I do 3 things differently.

  1. I add a bit more flour to get my pancakes a little fluffier.
  2. I add a bit more vanilla because I love the sweetness it brings.
  3. I put a lot of vegetable oil in the pan and sort of fry the pancakes over medium heat. I feel like it makes them crispier on the outside and soft on the inside. I then put them on paper towels to absorb a bit of the oil.

When eating these pancakes make sure you use real maple syrup. We get the jug from Costco and it’s awesome. Top with berries and bacon and prepare for a delicious and mouthwatering explosion in your mouth.

Enjoy!
